FCS Garden Program

Spring is almost here!! The FCS classes will begin tilling and amending the soil in the next few weeks and will do our traditional planting of peas and other cool weather crops on St. Patrick's Day. Before the end of school, we will have replanted for Summer. All the veggies go towards the FCS classes and the Food Bank. We need your help to maintain the raised beds over the Summer. If you and your family would like to adopt a bed for a week or more please contact Miss Hisler at khisler@ucfsd.org or Miss Ballard at bballard@ucfsd.org

Homework Requests

If a student has been absent for two or more consecutive days, parents or guardians may call the office at 610-347-2000 before 9:00 AM to request homework and class work. We ask that you speak directly with a member of the office staff when making this type of request. Please do not leave requests for class and/or homework assignments on staff members’voice mail systems or staff members' email. Parents are asked to collect all materials in the office to insure that all assignments reach the student. School personnel will retrieve needed books and materials from lockers. For additional CFPMS procedures and school policies, please view the Parent Handbook located under the "Quick Links" drop-down menu at the top of the Patton Middle School website.

Hoopin' To Help Success

Thank you to everyone who came out to make Hoopin' to Help a big success! Hundreds of local residents turned out Saturday night to honor the memory of a local basketball legend — Al Lewis — and were treated to some amazing basketball, all to support a great cause. For a recap of the games and a tribute to Al Lewis check out this Unionville Times article.

GIrls Exploring Technology

Calling all girls grades 6-12! March 24 is GETT 2012! GETT is "Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology." Statistics continue to show that girls are not embracing careers in technology, despite an increasing need for skilled professionals in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math in Pennsylvania and across the nation. The solution? GETT! GETT is a day-long, fun, hands-on informational event for middle and high school girls, in grades 6 through 12 throughout the Delaware Valley, their parents, and educators. GETT features the opportunity for students to interact with successful women in technology. For more info visit the GETT Homepage or you can also find them on Facebook!

A special thanks to the Patton staff team - Mrs. Spisak, Mrs. Replogle, Mrs. McIntosh, Mrs. Dunbar, Mrs. McMahon, Mrs. Rafferty, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Baumgardner, Mr. Musacchio, Mr. McIntosh and Mr. Walsh. Also a big thank you you to Mr. Sudimak for the team introductions and keeping the music playing all night long as well as Mr. Fulginiti and Mr. Vosburgh for officiating the games.
