Basketball Family Fun Night
In a surprising upset, the Patton Teachers defeated the 8th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball Teams on Friday evening before a standing room only crowd in the Patton Gym. With Mr Sudimak as MC, the crowd cheered on the players as they displayed their smooth moves including behind the back passes, steals, blocked shots and break away layups. Parents, students, siblings and teachers attempted over 100 half court shots during half time, yielding 6 winners. Also 8 lucky contestants competed in a shooting contest, completing a layup, foul shot and 3 point basket back to back in less than 2 minutes. To begin the evening, Mr. Dissinger welcomed everyone and the Patton Chorus preformed the National Anthem. At the end of each quarter the Patton Cheerleaders distributed cool SWAG to the attendees. A good time was had by all, thanks to ALL the staff who played and volunteered!
