UCFSD Coat Drive!

Please consider donating clean coats, hoodies, hats, mittens/gloves, snow pants and boots to the Annual UCFSD Coat Drive. All sizes and styles, infant through adult are needed. Donated items can be dropped off in the lobbies of any UCF district school starting on October 23rd and ending on December 7th. Items should be clean and in good condition. New items and monetary donations are also gladly accepted. Collected items will be distributed in December to over 500 families in need in our area. For more info contact: ucfsdcoatdrive1@gmail.com.

FOCUS for November

The FOCUS Parent Network Presents: What Parents Need to Know About Teen Substance Use and Abuse. This event will feature a panel of experts to answer your questions and open lines of communication between parents and school representatives on this critical issue in our community.
The event is Tuesday November 14 from 7-8:30pm at the Patton Middle School Auditorium.

Mixer Volunteers Needed!

The first Middle School event for our 6th graders will be the traditional 6th Grade Mixer on October 13 from 3-4:30 PM. We need your help to make this year's 6th grade mixer a blast! Kidstuff Coupon Books

The last day to order you coupon book is September 22 so be sure to either pay for or return books by FRIDAY! Fill out the Money Collection Envelope including the edition you are ordering and enclose payment of $25 per book. If purchasing one book, pay $25 and keep the book sent home. Return your completed Money Collection Envelope to your advisory teacher by Friday. If you are not participating, please immediately return the book in a bag labeled with your child’s name to the school. This is NOT A SAMPLE BOOK for you to keep if not participating! The Patton Picnic!

All incoming 6th grade families and families new to the district all invited to the annual Patton Picnic!! It will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd from 6:30pm-8pm behind the middle school. Please sign up using this Sign Up Genius link and include the total number of family members attending so that we can get an accurate food count. We will be providing pizza, drinks and a dessert! Come out and meet some teachers and staff and mingle with our current PTO members. There will be music, games and a bingo scavenger hunt to keep the kids entertained!

So, does Patton have the BEST PTO anywhere?? Of course, we do!! And if the goal of Friday's annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon was to make Patton staff feel appreciated then -- mission accomplished! Thanks to Michelle Tuel and the many volunteers who helped throughout the day and, of course, all the parents who provided the delicious food!

8th Grade EOY Celebration!

The 8th grade End of Year Celebration at UHS is Friday, June 9, Time from 5:30-9:30 PM! Tickets are available for purchase by sending in the ticket form with cash or check or you can purchase them online right here! Tickets can also be purchased at lunch this coming Wednesday and Thursday. And don't forget to bring in a please photo of you for the celebration poster! The photo should be of you sometime between Kindergarten and 3rd Grade. We hope to see you there!

Carnival - RAIN OR SHINE!

The Patton Carnival is on Friday, May 5th from 2:30-7pm RAIN or SHINE - at Patton Middle School. In the event of rain there is a plan to move the carnival indoors. New games this year include hungry hippo bungee challenge and velcro soccer! Lots of food, raffle baskets, face painting and more.... Join the PTO fun with family and friends! It’s Time For Raffle Baskets!!!

This year the Patton Carnival is Friday, May 5.  The Carnival is the PTO’s main fundraiser each year. The Basket Raffle is a mainstay, one of the true favorites of the carnival!  Last year the basket raffle helped to raise over $9,500 for use in events at Patton, Enrichment Projects, teacher subsidy’s and much more. Each 6th and 7th grade Prime Time selects a theme for their basket.  Students then donate a NEW item or monetary contribution to fill their Basket.  Most 8th grade Prime Times collect money and then purchase large items such as iPxads, TV's, Laptops, Trips, etc. Click here to find our what your child's advisory theme is.

Community Bike Drive

The Unionville Community Bike Drive Committee would like to thank everyone who donated bicycles, time and energy to this year’s collection and repair efforts.  Through your efforts the drive was able to provide 126 bicycles to those in need.  Special thanks to the Cleaver, Vosburgh, Kramer and Fatzinger families as well as the Two Men and a Truck Company who drove their truck through icy conditions in order to ensure that the kids would not be let down.
